The Lord Of The Rings Series Book Review

The Lord of the Rings Series is written by J.R.R Tolkien. The Lord of the Rings is a well known series which has been read by millions of people around the world. In ancient times Sauron, the Dark Lord, forged a ring pouring his power and cruelty into it so that he could rule all the peoples of Middle-Earth. With this ring he began to draw to himself an army to destroy all peoples, but some fought back. An alliance was formed between elves and men to destroy Sauron once and for all.  The Alliance marched to Mordor, stronghold of Sauron, and fought against Sauron's mighty army. The Alliance won that battle and Sauron's great ring was cut from his finger. After many years the ring fell by chance into the possession of the most unlikely person, Frodo Baggins, a hobbit. After Frodo realizes what the ring is and that Sauron is searching for him, he takes off on a quest to destroy the ring with the hobbits, Pippin, Merry and Sam, the elf Legolas, the dwarf Gimli, Gandalf the gray, and men Boromir and Aragorn heir to the throne of Gondor. This book series follows the journeys of the fellowship from the Shire, home of the Hobbits, to Mordor the heart of Sauron's realm.
